The Open Wound, curated by Daria Borisova and Selcan Atilga, brings together artists Von Wolfe, Boris Acket, Savannah Harris, KV Duong, Geoffroy Pithon, Ludovic Nkoth, Isabella Amram, Dennis Miranda Zamorano, Giuseppe Francalanza, and Naleye Junior.

During the Venice Biennale 2026, the cultural platform ARTSA transforms Palazzo Nani Bernardo, located in the sestiere of Dorsoduro on the Grand Canal, into an encounter between past and present. Accessed from the water and spanning the piano terra, the garden, and the piano nobile, the exhibition activates the palazzo as a multilayered environment in which contemporary works engage with frescoed ceilings, mirrored salons, and ceremonial interiors. Venice is framed not merely as context but as an active interlocutor, a city built on water, shaped by centuries of exchange and impermanence, whose very foundations speak to the themes the exhibition addresses.
